He said he’d take more initiative and then ….

Okay am I insane ? My husband and only been married less than a year and got married pretty quickly also. But the past few months he’s stopped taking initiative for connection I feel like or at least in the way and reason I fell for him .

I started a new job and we’ve only had 1 day together with our new schedule so I was said let’s go outside or do something fun after I get off and he suggested paddleboarding so I was like yay!!of course I was looking forward to it all day .

After work he calls me and begin suggesting another plan with some one else and i was like okay ? Tbh i thought he was calling me to say he got things ready for us to leave when i got home . And then he suggested we bring our new puppy but after being with patients all day I just wanted to relax. Then he goes well I have laundry to do so he goes downstairs and starts doing laundry . After that he gets a call from said person and says ok well
Meet you at this time for dinner so now even if we go paddle boarding we’re on a time restriction.

Idk guys it’s just confusing . So this morning he went to and brought flowers and coffee out of no where

Thoughts ? Am I being crazy or seeing this wrong . Idk I just wanted a simple day connecting with my husband .
