How to connect with people?

Hello, 28M, I work remotely, most of my friends/people I knew were junkies or are married.

How do I make good friends? I work remotely so I don’t have many people to socialise with and yk, life gets stale after a while, what do I do? I’m too socially awkward to really just give it a proper thought and often just dismiss it and at the end of the day, it’s a boring weekend and nothing to do apart from playing some games which, let’s be real, I suck at and don’t enjoy playing alone either.

So fellas, I need like good suggestions what to actually do?
