Christian post-breakup experiences

Recently got broken up with and really thought she was the one God had in my plans.

This was also my first ever relationship and breakup, and it was so abrupt and during the worst possible life circumstances for me that I have genuinely hit rock bottom and had no idea how to process it all.

I have been reading a lot of my Bible and praying a lot more than before, and do feel a lot closer to God which is a good thing. But am in a lot of constant pain and heartbreak :(

I was wondering if any other Christians have any good personal anecdotes on how they have recovered from breakups with people they truly cared about and thought God had planned for them to marry?
