Since we've seen the warning example! What To Actually Trim In, Other Than Shorts (Ladies)
I am a woman, and an absolute idiot, but most importantly: a landscaper.
While actual work pants are the obvious pick for landscaping and yardwork and I would LOVE it if we could also take a second to discuss which brands and models are making functional and durable women's workwear that accomodates our various personal cake shop configurations, I personally find many normal human garments to be an endurance test of cosmic sensory malice, and after much trial and error have arrived at the solution of modal leggings from Costco with quick-dri athletic shorts over top for most of my work.
However, into each life some rain must fall, so when actual pants are called for, my personal pick is jogger-style medical scrubs. They're basically more durable gym pants, and you can get them with like a full dozen stupendous pockets of assorted sizes and locations. Yes, joggers are "out," but you can wear your socks pulled fully up over the cuff. Ticks suck and I'm already chopped, who cares.
Also, I do have one pair in full polyester, but otherwise try to get them in at least a 50/50 blend with cotton or processed cellulose (modal, rayon etc.) because I despise wearing petroleum synthetics to work, hike, exercise, &etc. in. My taint WILL fill up with sweat and no it will NOT "wick," you are LYING, right to my sweet face you are lying.
Obviously, neither of these options will cover someone who is regularly dealing with e.g. chainsaws or Massive Death Thorns and needs like the Kevlar thigh patch situation. But if you have ever put on a pair of supposedly ergonomic Work Pants and after fifteen minutes of Slav-squatting in dirt pulling weeds been like "God has forsaken us," maybe one of my solutions could release you from your suffering.
