Have you thought about ditching accounting for HVAC school and work? (in your 40s)

Hi all,

For one reason or another, I just started entry level accounting while studying for the CPA. I had worked in different fields before, like hotels and on building projects. The FAR exam prep is proving to be close to impossible so far. So I am thinking if I havent dug in accounting yet and it seems I may not pass the exams, should i ditch for HVAC tech. I am in good shape and maybe will do ok by the age of 50 with that compared to accounting...

Anyone else switched to trade?
