Fertility seems to be having a 'moment' in the zeitgeist. Between handwringing over falling birthrates, the rise of tradwife influencers, and whatever the hell "spermaxxing" is, it's just the right time for TV executives to hop on the bandwagon with a TV show combining the brutal physical judgement of Naked Attraction [1] with the awkward clinical intimacy of Sex Box [2]. The name, obviously, is Naked Conception.

You are this week’s guest. Why are you here? Well, IVF is expensive. Maybe you're a happily single woman ready for solo-motherhood, part of a lesbian couple eager to start a family, or your husband’s swimmers just aren't up to the task and he's watching from the green room. Either way, Naked Conception is paying for the top-tier genetic screening and the legal paperwork—as long as you don't mind going from meeting to breeding in the space of an hour.

You have already whittled dozens of resumés down to four contestants. Now, you stand on stage with the host before four frosted glass pods. Under the bright studio lights, the screens will rise to reveal just the lower halves of your potential mates. At this point, you will eliminate one while discussing your preferences with the host. Next, you'll face three torsos-heads obscured, and as you weigh up the physiques on display and mentally try to match them with the profiles you've selected, you will be required to eliminate another. Down to the final two, you will have the opportunity to see the face, but not speak to, the two men ready and willing to impregnate you, as you agonise over this final, and most impactful decision.

With the unlucky runner up dismissed, you can finally greet your future baby daddy-moments before you enter the "Conception Box" together to do the deed. Hopefully you'll not be too exhausted for the mandatory post-coital interview.

For some reason, this unhinged mashup popped into my head and I just had to write it down. I'm looking for someone who is equally interested in the possibilities presented by a voyeuristically intrusive breeding based reality show. I'm also interested in discussing other similar concepts combining game shows with sex.
