I make a $1M+ year as a Radiologist working from home and AI is not going to replace us
Just my background, I did my residency and did fellowship for specialty. I make a $1M+ a year and work from home with a very good work life balance. Its a very chill job where I don't work weekends and do about 40-45 hours a week. AI is nowhere near taking our jobs away. Im thinking its another 20-30 years before it has even the slightest impact and even then I imagine its minimal. Wages for our field continue to increase at high levels and theres still a massive shortage. If I wanted to put more effort I could probably clear $1.5M this year. Alot of new post residency are taking in $800k+ just starting out. That one guy in 2016 who said everyone should stop training radiologist was dead wrong.
