Oasis is my favorite band in a weird way

I was just thinking about my favorite bands. My taste usually revolves around heavy bands like Iron Maiden, Metallica, Megadeth, Rage Against The Machine, System of a Down, and others. However, my favorite band is... Oasis. This seems strange to me now because Oasis stands out so much on this list, and it's still my favorite. I don't have an explanation for it; Oasis is simply Oasis, nothing like it, I think.
