I’m new and have questions

Hi I recently started trying to sell feet pics. I have been receiving a lot of messages that I believe are scams. I am not sure if the messages saying they can pay with checks are scams or not. I try to tell them I only want to use other methods. Should I just avoid those messages? Any tips would be greatly appreciated!!
