Fortnite’s success in micro transactions

I’ve known about the sheer magnitude of money they generate due to battle passes alone, but only recently did I start passively playing the game and the realization of the scope of money they make is mind boggling.

There are people who count down the days certain emotes/bundles have been in shop, and yes you can argue this is with any game but they have cultivated millions of people who are obsessed exclusively with having as much,”limited edition” skins as possible. This company has successfully created an army of people so addicted with solely flexing emotes alone I’m slightly in awe of the capitalism final boss of it all.
