Former/current credit card employees

I started back in Feb. What was your experience and how long did you stay?

It’s been ok so far but kind of strict, but maybe I was too spoiled in my last role. Also not my first customer service job, but my first call center job.

On top of the expectation of 70-80 calls per day, there’s the ‘schedule availability’ metric meaning they want you at the computer 95%+ of the time. I’ve gotten pulled to the side because I’m at 90%. However still exceeding 70 calls a day.

Then there’s the QA side of things. Can complete what a customer is asking but still get pinged because you didn’t read every last word of a script. Don’t even get me started on the amount of fraud calls.

I’m thinking man, this is a fucking lot for a flat $20 an hour. Any departments you went to that were better? Or even working for a different bank?
