How do normal lives of emotionally healthy people even look like?

Seeking Advice / Problem Solving

For example, I don't think I've ever seen what a healthy relationship looks like in real life. It seems like people either low-key or openly hate their partners, friends, or family members, avoid conflicts altogether, or are constantly fighting without ever resolving anything.

When meeting new people, I'm often astounded by how many are self-centered and spend hours talking about themselves—about how awesome and capable they are—without showing any interest in the person they're talking to. It's as if they have a huge craving for recognition. Some people seem nice on the surface but are manipulative or talk badly about others behind their backs. Others either avoid problems at all costs or actively look for them.

There are people who constantly seek the company of others, jumping from one high to the next because they're afraid of spending time alone, and others who do the exact opposite, preferring to stay at home all the time, gaming or scrolling their lives away on the internet.

So what is an emotionally healthy person? What does an ordinary life for someone like that look like, and how do they navigate a world full of people with these kinds of issues?
