Question about cars

Hi, we currently have a Kia Sedona that’s been great for many years, but over the last two years, it’s had a lot of problems, and the repair costs have been adding up.

Because of that, I’m looking for a used vehicle on a budget. My #1 priority is safety and reliability. I can’t afford much beyond what I can get from trading in the Sedona and saving up, but safety is the most important factor. Any advice?
