How to rediscover the joy of your femininity

Trans Feminine

An incident left me traumatized and housebound for years. I don't think it's appropriate to give details, but since it happened, it's been difficult to reconnect with my feminine side. Starting my transition was a dream come true. I had just begun the biggest change when the pandemic ended, and then, within months, everything came to a sudden halt. Now I'm barely starting to try to get back to where I was, but I don't feel the same joy and happiness that being feminine used to give me. I'm trying to rediscover the joy of being openly myself, but it's complicated. How do you recapture the affection for something that has lost its vibrancy? Because taking away a trans girl's sense of femininity is like clipping a bird's wings. I wonder if this is common or if there's anyone I can talk to about it. Since I've been in lockdown for so long, I don't know many trans people to share experiences with.
