Android wallet with Presto card

I've had no problems since I linked my card to Android wallet on my Pixel. Money added showed up immediately and charges are shown clearly each time I use the card, bus, subway and UP express. Today I encountered my first problem. I scanned my phone on the 506 bus and it says ACCEPTED. But when I checked my history , it wasn't there. So I tried it at a different machine and the same thing happened. Tried at yet another machine one last time and the same thing. History doesn't show it but says ACCEPTED with the same ding. I was nervous the entire trip home as I have read people do get fined and I didn't want to go through the hassle of going to court to get it dropped. Was wondering if anyone had the same issue and how I can make it work. I also looked at my Presto app and nothing charged either. I tried shutting down the phone, swipe down or up to refresh, still didn't work
