BF [25M] said he wants to go to a strip club but won't bc I [28F] said no

So me [28F] and my bf [25M] were chatting and listening to a podcast and stripper clubs came up in the podcast, it was about if it was cheating etc. My opinion was I don't care if it's cheating or not but I wouldn't be okay with it. He said okay, I just think it would be fun to go. So I was like, so if I didn't care you would go, and he said yeah.

This kinda bothers me. I said 'okay would you be cool with me going to a male strip club' and he said 'no because that's icky'???

Like am I being dumb or is this not making sense to anyone else either?

Since I'm in a relationship I don't WANT to go to any strip club mainly out of respect to the relationship. I dunno, the whole thing has kinda thrown me off. Some outside perspective would be appropriated.

*Yes I appreciate that he respects my boundaries and says he wouldn't bc I wouldn't like it*. But knowing he wants to go 'with the bros' kinda makes me feel not great?

TL,DR - Bf would go to a strip club if I was okay with it and it kinda made me upset
