Challenge mode Defiler

What's the secret to this one? I've got my wall crasher Gley build, following the leaderboard builds. A decent HP/duration AM. And toxin resists on my external components. Have no problem beating him down and breaking his weak points with the blue beetle. But when he frenzies I die almost instantly. I can't outrun his bombs or roll out of the way fast enough.
