My opinion on something in episode 9 related to Jax (spoilers).

I know there is a lot of discussion and debate related to Jax's abstraction in episode 9. Some people are really upset he abstracted and some people are ok with it. Some people are upset because they wanted him to have a redemption arc which I get. Personally, I saw spoilers ahead of time (not the leaks, just someone stating what happened online). I was really concerned going into seeing episode 9 that I was going to be really upset with it because I am one of those fans who was rooting for his redemption. I always like a good redemption story so I was disappointed when I heard he was going to abstract. However, I always knew there was a good chance that was the way Gooseworx wanted the story to play out. After seeing it in theaters, I am satisfied with how everything played out. I still wish Jax hadn't abstracted but I felt the way it played out was satisfying. Even though he will never have the chance to make up for the things he did to the others in the Circus, I feel like he was still redeemed in a way when he had his last interaction with Pomni (which is probably one of my favorite scenes in the episode). It was just too little too late. I am also glad that in his final moments, he was able to find comfort from another person. I know not everyone will agree with this opinion but it is how I am choosing to view it.
