So I’ve been spending some time putting together what I hope is the best version of **Suntitled** available for us all to listen to whilst we wait for news of new music or a tour (I still believe)!

My initial reasoning for this was so that I could enjoy the highest quality of the song. I took to recording probably 8 or 9 different versions from YouTube / Soundcloud straight into my DAW, most of which were duplicates of each other.

What I found was the audio posted by u/jackwxrren [**here**](https://www.reddit.com/r/thebottlemen/comments/1fkqgk4/suntitled_best_quality_so_far/). this was edited audio, originally posted by u/AloneProtection566 [**here**](https://www.reddit.com/r/thebottlemen/comments/1fkuq3j/suntitled_best_quality/), which he had ripped direct from EA25 - Without you two doing these things, I would have never bothered to do this, so thanks!

Sonically the version I have mentioned above was the cleanest, most dynamic and likely closest to an official release that is available. The only downside to it was the skips, which I can only imagine came when ripping the audio from the game. u/jackwxrren had done a really great job sorting out the level of the audio from the original post, but the skips were virtually impossible to fix.

While checking the audio for the other versions I had come across, I noticed that the version posted on u/catbupdates on [YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7BeZ89f8ICc) was the entire song, without skips, but was really quiet (peaking at -14db). When I raised the gain to match u/jackwxrren’s, it was clear that

What I decided to do is cut the audio from the u/catbupdates (yellow audio file) where the skips were present, keeping as much of the dynamics from original rip (which is the red audio) as I could while smoothing out the transitions between versions, doing my best to make sure that the volume doesn’t jump when the cuts happen. Listening back when I'd make sure all of the timings and volume were as close to being right as I could get, I was buzzing.

After doing all this for myself, which was a lot more time and effort than I first thought it would be, I figured it would be nice to share with the community, if you want it. I’m sure at this point many people have their own “version” they prefer, whether it be on YouTube or Soundcloud etc, but it might interest some people out there who care about fidelity!

(mods let me know if I need to remove the download link, but seeing as we can't buy it / stream it, I imagine it's fine?)
