Posh vs. Vinted

Idk what’s going on, but I like it!

TLDR: casual closet seller on Posh, with modest sales, now cross listing on Vinted and things are MOVING!

I’ve been on Posh since 2022, selling my and my Mom’s closet, mostly clothing with a few odds and ends mixed in. I have about 80-100 listings, share my closet a couple of times a week, sell maybe 1-5 things a month tops. I’m an occasional buyer using my balance. I’ve had 95% good experiences both directions.

Basically, I haven’t given it much attention until recently. I started listing more things on Posh as I organize my dedicated space. I decided to start cross listing over on Vinted and I’m gobsmacked. In under two active weeks, I’ve V-listed 12 items and sold half of them! I took a break after the first week bc I travel and thought my sales might be just a beginners fluke, but I listed again today and sold two items in less than an hour of listing them!

Granted I’m listing/selling for a lower price point over on Vinted but considering Posh’s 20% take and the wee amount of Vinted shipping costs I’m feeling awesome about giving great deals and getting things out of my house! I operate under the mindset that if someone were to walk up at my garage sale and offer $xx for an item, I’m almost always a yes. Buyers have been easy, nice, buy outright or send reasonable offers. I’m now a buyer too on Vinted and have really good experiences as well!

Does anyone else use Vinted? What is your take?
