Market research has "Scam" reputation. UX problem?
I have experienced recurring feedback claiming market research is not worth it and here are some common frustrations:
• Re-entering information I've already provided
• Spending time on studies only to be screened out
• Long or difficult surveys that require significant effort
• Delayed or restrictive compensation like gift cards
• Being asked for personal information without much visibility into how it will be used
What are some of your own frustrations with market research participation?
If you could redesign the participant experience from scratch, what would you change?
Do you think those changes would lead to better quality responses?
