Does your psychosis ever just subtly linger?

I am more Schizo-affective when my bipolar type 1 psychosis seemed to breach containment and camp out regardless of mood episodes. Sometimes it gets REALLY BAD. Though many times its triggered by intense stress and anxiety. It doesn't have to be much of it or prolonged but if the stars align i WILL go insane.

But even when i don't 'feel' psychotic i still get weird symptoms. I go to bed and hear music playing and people talking. I am by the door and hear animals scratching at the door but when i look nothing is there. Ill sit down and see clouds of smoke settle on the floor and blow everywhere and then it suddenly vanishes. Ill see people appear then dissapear 5 seconds later.

Also i am ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS paranoid. i feel im incapable of trust
