Question about resumes

Hellllo OE group. I had a quick question about resume juggling. So I’m in a weird position where I was OE and just now got laid off from my J2. My J2 was a contract role with a recruiting company and my recruiting company let me know hey it happens but I am still hire-able with them. So my recruiter mentioned to update my resume and give it to them so they can start looking for something else for me. Obviously I never left my J1. So my question is what do yall do? Or what would yall do? Do I give this recruiter an updated resume with my J2 as my latest position and let them search as I search on my own too with a different resume without J2?
