(Hopefully) First time PC owner

I have been researching and I really want experts like some of you guys’s opinions, I really do not know much about this at all even after research. I also have a few questions. One, which is a better option, prebuilts, or making it yourself, and why?. Two what are the main components I should focus on and which ones are not as huge for the computer. And Three, how do I decide what components to get?

⁠Budget:
Preferably under 2000$ maybe a little over if needed

Use-Case:
I am mostly going to be using this for gaming, but still a very little bit of other stuff, like documents or hardware updates

Country of purchase:
United States of America

Peripherals needed:
I am going to need 2 or more monitors, and a mouse and keyboard, I do need speakers, and there’s a likely chance that I need a webcam and microphone, but I will not use a printer, and I do not want to use usb’s or external hard drives, I also might need headphones

Any other requirements / preferences:
I would like a black and white PC, this can also mean a black PC with led lights that I can make white.

Like I said, I do not know much about PC’s and do not know if this is unrealistic and unreasonable, but thank you. Also lastly, as of right now, I don’t even have an idea of what specific components that I want. And if anyone in here knows about any good peripherals, please contact me
