Is it just me or is tournament gear getting ridiculously expensive?

I was looking at some new loaders and a decent mid-range marker today and I honestly had to put it back on the shelf. It feels like every time I save up for a decent upgrade, the price tags just jump another fifty or a hundred bucks. I'm not even looking at the top-tier pro stuff, just something reliable that won't break every three games. Is anyone else feeling this? I remember when you could get a solid setup for way less, but now it feels like you need a second mortgage just to play a weekend tournament.
