Why is there so much hate against my religion??

I am a jain Marwadi, living in Maharashtra and speaking marathi language 80%of the time.. and i am really really surprised by hate that is being inflicted on us.. it is really sad.. i mean i consider myself as a maharashtrian (of courses India first and then maharashtrian)as i was born and raised here.. i have so many maharashtrian friends, my sister has married in a maharashtrian family, my bhabhi is a Patil.. but now this… people are legit calling us jews on India.. someone commented in a sub that we are jain jihads?? Like really?? Yes there are a few extremists in the community but not everyone is like that?? In my business there are so many maharashtrian employees, all my jain friends and family are really in good terms with their respective maharashtrian community people they have to deal with on a daily basis.. all of my jain friends and family and extended family and the community that i interact with speak the language.. i het a feeling all my maharashtrian friends will just get up one day and kick me out of my world which i consider my home.. i also have vibed on jai jai Maharashtra majha song since childhood.. what got lost in translation here???
