Ending a Situationship

Hello,

I’m 19F and I was seeing this guy 20M for the last month of college (so throughout April). I’ve been back home for the summer since mid May, but we’ve still been talking quite a bit through texting, but during this time I’ve realized I don’t want a relationship with him and I’m not interested in him that way anymore. This may be silly, but I was hoping if I stopped texting him he wouldn’t text me and the “relationship“ would die out but that hasn’t happened. He still texts me everyday morning, asking what I’m doing and how’s my day been. But I know if Im not intreated in him i shouldn’t lead him on. So I’m wondering how should I end things with him.
