Trade Evaluation

I am thinking about joining some online leagues. I know trading is a big part of that. What’s your methodology when you’re evaluating a trade offer? When do you deem someone tradable and how do you determine what you want in return?

I’m less concerned with the obvious big name player for big package. More interested in the smaller deals that don’t go noticed at the time of the trade.
