If the Spurs loose game 5 they will be the second team to loose 3 home games in an NBA finals

The Spurs who are down 3-1 to the Knicks have the potential to join the 2019 Warriors as the only teams to loose 3 games at home in the 2-2-1-1-1 era. It will be very interesting to see if the spurs can generate some momentum back in San Antonio as the Warriors-Raptors series also went to 6 game.

The only team that has ever won a Finals series in the 2-2-1-1-1 era after dropping 2 games at home has been the Raptors during 2019 finals. If the Spurs win the series they’d be the second team to achieve that.
