Dedicated servers

With 1.0 coming out soon, my friends want to try out palworld again but, the first time we played on non dedicated servers and between the limit of 4 people at once along with having to wait for the host to get on, it was pretty limiting.

I’m curious if our friend who has a pc would be able to host a dedicated server and invite all of us(ps5) that way everyone can play whenever they’d like?

Also if it’s possible, how does things like keeping pals fed at bases work in that type of server? Do you just have to make a ridiculous amount of food or does it go down slower while you’re offline?
