I may have a good idea(s) about the lifeforms...

Discussion/Theory

It randomly clicked in my head today about what the lifeforms could be. I have a couple of possible theories that are very similar and it makes sense to me.

1st theory:

My first idea is that wherever we see a lifeform, there is evidence that someone was around that area. E.G FF1, somebody had written on the wall to not move. In FF2 there was a car that had no clipped and crashed and it is almost hinting that someone died in that room. In Pitfalls, Marvin states that it looked like someone was living there in the house where that lifeform was.

The closest and most detailed view we really get of the lifeform is in FF2 when Margret stumbles into that room with it in. It looks like it has grown all over the room, stay with me this is relevant later.

I believe the lifeform is indeed the mutated strain of Hay Bacillus but is actually a rapid mutation from someone who has died in the backrooms. For example it is implied that the person from FF2 who crashed their car died (bloody handprint). We also see from autopsy report that when someone dies, parts of them start decaying very quickly while others are just stunted. This would leave me to think that once someone dies the rapid growth and onset of the spread of Hay Bacillus causes a complete overtake of that persons body which sort of sustains the original structure due to the partially stunted growth, which is why the lifeforms still have a very very rough humanoid outline. In a way, the Hay Bacillus becomes a super organism and essentially takes over the hosts body. This would explain how some of them can mimic noise and some of them can't mimic it as well. It points to their voice box decay having been stunted, hence how they are still able to emit noise. It would also explain all the vines in the lifeform room in FF2, as the rapid growth meant the HB (Hay Bacillus) just kept expanding and replicating to form what we know as the lifeform.

Why are they hostile?:

I believe their hostility comes from the super organisms need for more nutrients in the form of a living being, hence why it mimics people and tried to lure them as apparent in Pitfalls, if it catches people it kills them and then uses their body as a source of nutrients to sustain growth.

2nd Theory (ish):

HB is found in soil as mainly decaying plant matter and the gastrointestinal tract. in FF2 the lady says it looks like some kind of plant (slight paraphrase but she does say plant). Because of this, I think that the lifeform is a backrooms copy of the hay bacillus bacteria from a decaying corpse. But because HB is found in soil and our guts it doesn't know what to properly copy or form it into so it just meshes it into this humanoid plant/vine like structure.

Is the backrooms remembering Hay Bacillus as a vile mixture of decaying plants mixed in which humans? Or is it actively influencing the growth of Hay Bacillus in the way it thinks it 'remembers' it? Either way I do believe that these lifeforms are the mashup of people and plant matter that are overtaken by HB.

I still believe that their hostility is for the same reason as mentioned above if this is the case.

It would make sense as if you look at the corpse in missing persons it started spreading up the wall and for a roughly recent corpse it sure has decayed quickly (in parts).

Let me know what you guys think?
