When did you start feeling better after septoplasty and turbinate reduction?

I had a septoplasty and turbinate reduction this past Tuesday, and honestly, I’m struggling. I was prescribed pain medication, but today it doesn’t even feel like it’s helping much. My upper teeth hurt so badly, I have a nasty headache, and I keep going from freezing cold to feeling hot. Sleeping has been awful, and overall I just feel miserable.

I’ve read that days 1–3 (or sometimes 1–4) are often the worst. If you’ve had this surgery, when did you turn the corner and start feeling better? Any tips for getting through these first few days would be appreciated because right now I feel like I don’t know how much longer I can do this.
