MCT oil for hair?

Hello, i'm new to this sub and everyone is talking miracles about MCT. My seb derm isn't the worst, mostly just scalp, and outside of the ears, but I wanna get rid of this since i've been experiencing AGA for the last year and currently in shedding it just makes it worse

Do I just like massage it once I wash my hair? or do it the other way around? let it sit for an hour and then wash my hair? thanks

I ordered a MCT C8 oil from amazon, like 20 usd. I'm not supposed to apply a lot of it on my scalp either right?
