Fiancée (35F) is very negative about kids and I (31M) am not sure she actually wants them

Love

I (31M) have been with my fiancée (35F) for almost 4 years, engaged for 1.

Every time we talk about having kids, she is extremely negative about it. She focuses on pregnancy “ruining” her body, losing freedom, not being able to travel, and how much responsibility and stress kids bring.

She never talks about wanting kids in any positive way — no excitement about being a mom, raising a child, or anything like that. Even when we joke about future kids, it’s always light humor, never serious or meaningful.

She has also said before that if she ends up pregnant, “it will be what it is,” but if she had a choice, she wouldn’t have kids. She also once asked me if we had a child and later split up, whether I would be okay with the child staying with me.

At this point I’m genuinely questioning whether she actually wants kids at all or if she’s just going along with the idea. I don’t want to pressure someone into motherhood, but I also don’t want to ignore a major incompatibility.
