A Lie and A Crow
King
I’m downing and starting to sink deep
Trying to forget time so I spend time asleep
The sleep doesn’t equal to counting sheep
Kingdom destroyed enemies marching to the keep
All the gold and jewels now look cheap
The people of the city can only weep.
Coward
A young peasant full of sorrows
Hopeful of joy on the tomorrow
A beautiful sky of sun’s glow
Only got mountains of snow
All the peasant knows
Till came a obsidian black crow
And the sun and moon became slowed
As once as a water flow
The crow told the boy you will grow
Have plenty of bread from the dough
And give all kingdoms a show
Flowers will throw
Trumpets will blow
Conquer many of your foes
In lands high and low
Many troubles shall come though
In a deal which troubles one would not know.
Fool
The peasant took the deal
Just looking for a meal
The crow told him to kneel
To draw his blood on the seal
Saying that wound will heal
Now that his time is on a wheel
The boy was given a sword of steel Matching steel armor for appeal
Sent off to the sea of teal.
Warrior
The boy awoken from agonizing cries
With dirt and blood filled eyes
Trying he’s best to look upon the skies
All he can remember the ship capsized
Now he lays in a land of who enters dies
Now looking for any sign of his allies
Only to see bodies full of files
Thinking all the crow foretold was lies
Thinking he wasn’t very wise
Feeling like a fool for a prize
Looking towards God to advise
Even though the poor boy was never baptized.
