I'm not playing cheats, I'm playing people that don't want to win, weird

So I've had my fair share of games against bots and cheats but recently I've played loads of games where the opponent has a decent profile score and seems genuine, but deliberately trying not to pot the balls, just played against someone and every shot they aim away from the nominated pocket or just to the side of it, when it's a basic simple shot, they're just not lining them up at all, what's that all about, just weird 😄
