Earlier this week I wiped windows...

As per the title, finally wiped windows been thinking about it for a while now, trying distro's on a ventoy setup. How Linux has changed over the years, I'm not dual booting either! I kinda knew I would end up with Mint, as it was my second distro I used for a while previously after Ubuntu, but back then I just couldn't fully get away from windows and went back fully. More through comfort level as Windows 7 was good back then.

Back to now, my life and pc needs are much more simplified and more to the point Linux has improved so much. The fact that when I first logged in, Mont just found my printer! I didn't ask it to, as I was still less than 30 seconds into post install, but it just did it, that's a touch I loved. My headset works, apart from ms teams, but I put that down to teams. My x270 laptop feels just so much better, ok I've still got stuff to learn and tweak and make it comfortable like windows was, but that's why I did it now. I'm pretty much starting a fresh and have no specific windows needed software, ok apart from teams, but I can live with it as it is.

I'm looking forward to my Linux journey for the long term certainly for now Mint is serving my needs, even gaming!

If there are pointers anyone can share with me please do. And any developers happen to read this, keep up the good work!
