A small online interaction that’s been living rent-free in my head

I met a guy in a game recently and I don’t know why, but talking to him felt really nice.

Nothing crazy happened. He wasn’t flirting, he wasn’t asking for my socials, and he didn’t come across as creepy or desperate. We’d have quiet moments in the conversation, and instead of making it awkward, he’d just bring up a new topic naturally.

He also has a really soothing voice lol.

The funny thing is we’re the same age but live on completely different sides of the world. I’m 8 hours ahead of him.

The embarrassing part is that we only talked ONCE. One conversation. That’s it.

But for some reason I’ve been thinking about it ever since.

And yes, before anyone asks, I kind of want his Instagram. 😂

The worst part? I’m literally waiting for him to come online. Not in a crazy way, but every time I open the game I find myself checking if he’s there. I feel ridiculous because we’ve only talked once, but here I am doing time-zone calculations and wondering if he’s awake yet. 😭
