Is there more crawl-like entertainment out there in the universe?

Just wondering, since the crawl seems to be super popular and profitable, and only somewhat controversial, but it only happens every couple of decades and is rather limited in time. This would be like if football was only the world cup every couple of years. Are there also smaller events or shows on other planets that use crawl-like rules and frameworks without having to be run by a system AI?

The only thing we heard of in the series I think has to be the hunter training camp thing
