need general tips on some things

for example I run flashlight with the following perks; Champion Of Light, Windows Of Oppurtinity, Dead Hard and We'll make it

my main goal is to loop the killer waste time heal teammates quickly b4 the killer comes after unhooking etc. I usually do at least 1-2 gens mostly 2-3 gens every game and my teammates get downed a lot I save them when they're close I get 1-2 saves a game usually but I was wondering should I sit at gens too much or should my main goal always be messing with the killer. And also I've had a game like this for the 3rd time today my teammates all got downed within 5-10 secs of a chase obnoxiously fast obviously. I tried to save them like atleast 5 times, magically even tho the killer was walking towards me while going to grab them (I'm of course hidden) he magically turns around exactly 180 degrees each and every single time thus I did not get a single save that game the killer weren't really great either never catched me once. I was going 0 hits saving teammates within 5-10 secs of a hook usually, another question I had is should I even save them this fast? BECAUSE ALL 3 OF THEM WERE ON 2 HOOKS AND EVENTUALLY ALL DIED WHEN I WAS STILL ON 0 HITS 0 HOOKS well I was walking and being sneaky to unhook my teammates most of the time but I still did have a couple of relatively long chases not too long but like 30 secs to a minute is still good imp and he'd just leave me be to go get my teammates
