How many trophies you lose at the end of a season is so harsh

Here’s a longer Reddit-style post you could use:

Is anyone else frustrated by how harsh the trophy loss system is in Rush Royale?

I finished last season at around 6,800 trophies and after the reset I’ve been dropped all the way down to 4,700. That’s a loss of over 2,000 trophies, which honestly feels brutal. It feels like an entire season’s worth of grinding has just been wiped out overnight.

I understand that seasonal resets are meant to keep matchmaking healthy and give everyone something to work towards, but this feels excessive. Going from 6,800 to 4,700 doesn’t feel like a reset it feels like starting over from scratch. All the time spent climbing the ladder suddenly feels much less rewarding when such a huge chunk of progress disappears at the end of the season.

What’s even more frustrating is that higher-ranked players are the ones putting in the most effort to push trophies, yet they’re also the ones getting hit with the biggest drops. It can make the whole grind feel pointless when you know that a large percentage of your progress is going to vanish regardless of how well you perform.

I don’t mind a reset, but surely there’s a better balance. A smaller reduction would still compress the ladder and keep things competitive without making players feel like they’ve lost weeks of progress. Dropping from 6,800 to 4,700 feels less like a fresh start and more like being punished for climbing too high.

Am I the only one who thinks the current trophy reset is way too aggressive, or do other players feel the same way?
