How strict is AirPort hand baggage control?

Hey there, I’m flying from Athens back to Poland with wizzair. Me and my friends only have backpacks, but they're quite crammed. What are the chances of the staff checking our backpack sizes and weight? In Poland no one checked them but it’s our first time in Athens.
