High mileage repair

Advice

I have a 2017 polo, 1.2 petrol, sport trim etc, that I’ve had since new, I’ve done 180000 miles on it and it runs perfectly and has no issues at all. It’s had a bit of damage to the front caused by debris impact damaging the bumper and fog lights and the radar, and the radiator housing, which is fixable with the insurance payout, but would be considered cat N. I own it outright and have basically very few expenses on it, the belt does need to be replaced next year though.
Now my question is, is it madness to repair it and carry on with it? It’s a car that I like and is in good working order and has minimal running costs. Or should I be looking to replace? If I did I’d go for a golf which would cost me around 300-350 a month, with 50k miles. My thoughts are it seems better to repair and continue for now as it’s not costing me much, and use it until it has a catastrophic failure. Just looking for other opinions.
