LM2167SP being replaced under warranty.

I purchased an Ego LM2167SP about 3 years ago. Yes, that is the much hated Speed IQ model. I got it for $300 off and mostly wanted the 12.0 Ah battery. The battery has been great but the mower less so. I was happy enough to just not use the awful self propel system until it started engaging the motor on its own making it difficult to push. Then the telescoping handle locking clamp failed. Anyway, I called to file a warranty claim and because there are no local service providers they are sending me a new mower. My question is, since this model is discontinued what will they send me? Will they send just the bare tool? I would like to keep the 12.0 Ah battery if possible. Thanks for any insight!
