My Macbook Neo's battery drains quickly

Hi, I've been using a Macbook Neo for a month now. Overall, the device has met my expectations and I like it, but I can't say the same about the battery life. It takes 1.5 hours to go from 100% to 80% charge, and about 6 hours to reach 10%. In short, a full charge gives me about 6 hours of usage time. Is this normal, or is there a problem? This is my first time using a Macbook, and I don't know if this is normal. Macbooks are generally known for their good battery life, but mine is a bit strange.
