Program weight accuracy

Hey guys,

Ive recently had to start running and maintaining the 3d printers at my job and ive noticed that there is a discrepancy with the amount of filament the program says vs what im actually using (my program should use about 994g im using about 1050g). Is this a wear and tear, calibration issue?
