STANDING THE TEST OF TIME

Shrapnel: The Official BattleTech Magazine is your mainstay in the fight, your tried-and-true secret weapon on the war-torn, BattleMech-dominated battlefields of the 31st century and beyond!

Payne’s Raiders, a mercenary company hired by the Federated Suns, zeroes in on a valuable target whose destruction could shift the balance in House Davion’s border war against the Draconis Combine. An aging MechWarrior is challenged to a duel by a young pilot hell-bent on revenge, but will his past deeds finally catch up with him? Jackie O’Bannon, granddaughter of famed mercenary Ace Darwin, seeks to forge her own legend, but first she needs to find a ’Mech of her own…

In this double-sized issue, you’ll travel to Sherwood in the Federated Suns Outback, where an ambitious Periphery pirate carves out a personal fiefdom via fire and blood. Then you’ll visit the snow-choked mountains of Buckminster, where the Seventh Amphigean Light Assault Group faces bitter betrayal during brutal alpine training. And on St. Ives, you’ll attend a fateful dinner meeting among House Liao luminaries that will set in motion the future of the Capellan Confederation.

Dive into an action-packed, double-sized celebration of all things BattleTech, including a new Fox Patrol story from Bryan Young; another entry in the “Tales from the Cracked Canopy” series; a full novella filled with mercenary shenanigans; Part One of the serial novel The Lone Marshal; and articles exploring the anniversaries of some of the most pivotal moments in BattleTech history. Then dominate on the tabletop with mercenary advice, some invaluable guidance on the risk of using pirate points, unit and planet digests, technical readouts, playable scenarios, and more!
