Sick of scrolling through your saved Instagram posts? I built a free extension to export them to CSV/Excel instantly.

Hey everyone,

As a creator, my Instagram "Saved" folder is where good inspiration goes to die. It’s a massive black box: you can’t search it, you can’t filter it, and if you have thousands of posts, you're stuck scrolling forever to find that one swipe-file asset you saved months ago.

I got tired of it, so I built SaveVault - a lightweight Chrome extension that extracts your saved collections into clean, structured CSV or Excel and HTML files with direct post links, full descriptions, and media URLs in one click.

How it works:

  1. Open your Instagram Saved folder on desktop.
  2. The Chrome extension will appear automatically.
  3. If you have multiple collections, get into one or 'All Posts'.
  4. Hit start, and it builds your offline database.

Privacy-First: All processing happens 100% locally in your browser. It doesn't track or store any of your data.

The free tier lets you export up to 250 posts (50/day) to test it out. I’d love to get your feedback on it or hear what other data points you'd want to export!
