I missed StumbleUpon, so I rebuilt it as an endless feed that drifts across the whole web (open source, no backend)
I built this — solo, vanilla JS, zero dependencies.
The itch: every feed I scroll is a walled garden. I wanted the *open web* to feel like one — and I missed StumbleUpon's "where am I now?" drifting.
So: ADHD Boost (the name's a joke, not a medical claim), a Chrome/Edge extension that shows the web as one vertical, snap-scrolling card feed. 16 keyless sources (random Wikipedia, HN, Reddit, xkcd, GitHub trending, NASA, the Met, Mastodon, your own RSS…) plus "Surf" mode: it starts from seed sites, harvests their outbound links client-side, and wanders further with every batch. There's also a Boost overlay (Alt+B) that turns ANY page into swipeable cards.
Since v1.2 there's a Source Library too: ~45 curated feeds/subreddits/YouTube channels you can toggle on, or add your own of any kind — even a generic JSON API — with a built-in test button.
No accounts, no servers, no tracking — everything stays in local storage. Not on the Web Store yet, so install is "load unpacked" (instructions in the README).
