Is It Safe to Buy 2026 Champions League & Concert Tickets This Early?

"So I was out with friends last weekend and my buddy casually mentioned he already bought tickets for a 2026 Champions League match and a Bruno Mars show, which kinda blew my mind because I usually buy like… a month before, max.

Now I’m seeing a bunch of sites selling tickets for events from May to October 2026, including some Shakira dates I really want to take my sister to. Prices look decent, but I’m lowkey nervous about buying this far in advance with all the “event postponed/venue changed” horror stories. Maybe I’m overthinking this, could just be me.

I’ve checked a few marketplaces (saw seatpin mentioned in a couple of threads while googling around) but I’ve never used any of them. My main worries are fake tickets, bad seats despite “great view” labels, and getting screwed if dates move.

How do you all decide which sites are actually safe for long-term purchases? Any red flags you always look for, or specific places you’ve had good experiences with for big football matches and big-name concerts this far out?"
